    Distance Education

    Page Content

The Gordon recognises everyone has different professional and study needs and offers Distance Education for those unable to attend certain courses. A flexible approach allows you to study within a timeframe suited to your lifestyle and commitments. You can study one or more units at the same time - from work or home!

    Mode and duration of study

Distance education is highly flexible allowing you to study at your own pace, at home or work. In consultation with Distance Education staff, a timeline can be tailored to suit your study goals, as well as work and life commitments. As a guide, if studying on a regular basis a Certificate IV can be completed across 12 months.

    Entry requirements

The Gordon offers a range of Distance Education qualifications with various entry requirements. You will need to complete a Direct Entry Application (link to forms page) and forward to the Distance Education staff (email link). An appointment will be arranged to assess any prior study and work experience to ensure you are enrolled at the correct level. You can discuss your requirements with Distance Education staff during business hours or at a mutually agreed time.

    Costs

Distance Education staff will advise you of your fees once you have agreed on your units of study.

    Reference texts and workbooks

Students are given a booklist on enrolment and books are available at the Gordon Institute Bookshop.
