The Gordon is renowned for developing and maintaining strong partnerships with industry, government and community organisations. Below are some of the valued clients The Gordon has assisted in achieving their business and training goals.

Barwon Health is Victoria’s largest regional health service and provides care for more than 500,000 people each year through the Geelong Hospital and its other community based sites.

Barwon Health partners with The Gordon through the 'Living Well Enterprise' health training packages and through the provision of student placements.

Established in 1987, the TAC is a Victorian Government organisation set up to manage Victoria’s transport accident personal injury scheme. As a demonstration of the TAC’s commitment to the Geelong community, each year the TAC engages 12 youths from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds to undertake traineeships in Certificate III Business Administration at The Gordon.

The City of Greater Geelong offers a unique mix of location, services and lifestyle and facilitates investment from existing and future businesses.

The Gordon is committed to helping COGG to provide high quality services by providing a variety of training courses including accredited Management courses as well traineeships in Customer Contact and Business Administration.

GMHBA Health Insurance is an Australia-wide not-for-profit private health fund with more than 75 years experience offering a range of hospital, extras and combined covers to suit different budgets and life stages.

In order to increase the skills of their sales team, GMHBA has several staff undertaking a Certificate IV in Business Sales which is delivered through a mix of customized on-line workshops and face to face visits.

St John of God Hospital Geelong has 184 beds and is part of St John of God Health Care, which is a Catholic, not-for-profit group and leading health care provider. We work with St John of God Geelong by delivering up skilling programs for Division 2 Nurses, and the hospital also supports our students by providing placement opportunities for our Diploma of Nursing students and trainees.

Geelong Accident Repair Centre

Geelong Accident Repair Centre is a state-of-the-art collision repair centre that has continuously invested in innovative technology and quality control processes.

Like many organisations, they are subject to the burden of employee down time through an inconsistent work flow or staff absence. The issue they have is that, at times there’s a large number of vehicles at Panel Beating and a shortage in Spray Painters or vice versa. These are basic work flow issues, which can affect all businesses.

Air Radiators

Air Radiators were seeking higher level workers in design and sales, who also possess basic hands-on engineering skills. Finding such individuals is difficult so they decided to offer existing employees the opportunity to train in these disciplines through a pathway program.

The Gordon, working closely with Air Radiators, mapped a study course that would introduce formal qualifications at an operator level in engineering. Being existing employees, some RPL was offered alongside training.
