Airport Pickup

Gordon International Office provides an airport pickup service for all international students arriving to commence their studies. International students coming to Geelong from their home country will arrive at Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine). Melbourne Airport is located 25 km from Melbourne city centre and one hour away from Geelong city centre.

 Airport pickup arrangement is free for students holding a Student Visa and who are enrolled for a course of 20 weeks or more. There is an arrangement fee of AUD$250 for students studying 19 weeks or less.

To use this service, please complete the Airport Pickup Application/Arrival Notification form and return to International Office as soon as you have finalised your travel arrangements. Please ensure that you submit your completed Airport Pickup application form at least 7 days before your arrival. A late fee of AUD$250 applies. 

If you require information about alternative airport transfer services, try the Gull Bus. The cost is around $30 each way.

 Taxis are also available from the ground level of Melbourne Airport outside the International and Domestic Terminals. Expect to pay around AUD$160 – AUD$180 for a trip from Melbourne Airport to Geelong city centre.
