    The Gordon Awards for Excellence recognises students who have attained the highest standards and display an outstanding commitment to training. 

    Top honours go to...

    Fashion student Thomas Bluett who won the Princeps Shield and Carpentry apprentice Dylan Baker who was named our Apprentice of the Year! Both students were awarded a trophy along with $2,000 prize money. Check out the hot shots on Facebook!

    Apprentice of the Year

    Dylan Baker - (Carpentry)      

    Dylan took out the Apprentice of the Year award having completed his carpentry apprenticeship with Hayden Gross Builders in 2011. With a passion for the industry, Dylan fast tracked his schooling and completed a Certificate IV in Building and Construction along with his apprenticeship last year.

    Princeps Shield for Most Outstanding Diploma Student

    Thomas Bluett - (Fashion)    

    Thomas was awarded the Princeps Shield which recognises the best final year diploma student. Thomas completed his Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design and Technology in 2011. He believes he was born to work in fashion – and is now working for couture designer Linda Britten in Melbourne.
