Course Description

If you are a creative person and enjoy working with your hands, our floristry course could be for you. You will learn in-depth skills in floral design, display and construction, visual merchandising, management of floristry stock, both classic and contemporary floral design techniques and mediums, floral and flower art, botanical designs, working to floral design briefs, wedding floristry, retail/wholesale practices and industry technology. 

You will also develop strong industry skills and knowledge including sustainable work practices.

Work placement/industry experience

You will have the opportunity to participate in floristry and merchandising competitions, specialist flower workshops, industry visits and field trips.

As an apprentice florist you work and learn in the industry.
