Option 1: VET FEE-HELP

VET FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector that is part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). Students studying at the Diploma and above level may be able to apply through The Gordon for VET FEE-HELP assistance to defer the cost of their studies.

The Australian Government VET FEE-HELP website provides detailed information about assistance for financing tertiary study.

You are eligible for Vet Fee-Help if you are an Australian Citizen or holder of an Humanitarian Visa. If you have not already provided details or copies of your birth certificate, passport or visa as part of your course application you will be required to do so for your Vet Fee-Help application. Our staff will be in contact with you should we require this information.


Option 2: Fee Payment Plan

 

What is it?

In extraordinary circumstances where a student applying for a CI - CIV qualification is unable to pay their fees in full prior to the commencement of the course, the student may apply for a Fee Payment Plan for the tuition only.

How does it work?

Students are required to fill in the Deferred Fees Arrangement Application Form [SA FO 4.01] and provide all required supporting documentation. Applications without the required supporting documentation cannot be processed. The application and supporting documentation needs to be brought to the enrolment session.

What happens next?

Once the application has been submitted the student will be issued with a temporary pass valid for 10 working days, whilst the application is reviewed. The student will be able to attend class during these 10 days.

Students will be advised by letter if the application is approved. The student will be able to complete their enrolment. A minimum of 25% deposit on the tuition is required. All additional costs such as amenities and materials must be paid in full at the time of enrolment.

If the student’s application is approved they will be required to make repayments via direct debit. Students receiving Centrelink payments will be required to pay via Centapay. These forms will be provided with the approved notification and need to be brought to the enrolment session.

NOTE: Any bank fees incurred due to dishonoured payments or insufficient funds will be the responsibility of the student. This includes fees incurred by the student and/or The Gordon.
