    Page Content

The Gordon’s community services programs are accredited and recognised by the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers, and the community services industry as a whole.

    You will enjoy:

    • Industry recognition and maximum employability.
    • Fantastic learning and support networks with our team of dedicated and
      experienced teachers.
    • Work placements from around the region.

    Health

Our Health programs cover Aged Care, Nursing and Massage, and include work placement opportunities.

Students receive valuable on-the-job training and experience from The Gordon’s network of professional industry partners. This practical experience gives our students an advantage, enabling them to pursue a variety of exciting career opportunities in an industry that is currently facing nation-wide skills shortages.

Our programs also offer fantastic pathway opportunities:

    • Diploma of Remedial Massage students can specialise in Myotherapy with a further year
      of study.
    • Diploma of Nursing offers further specialisation training, and articulation into
      Deakin University.
    • Certificate III in Basic Health Care (Ambulance), provides a solid grounding and foundation skills for selection into the Paramedic field.

     Children's Services

Completion of the Diploma of Children's Services enables graduates to work in childcare centres while at the same time providing a pathway to the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, allowing entry to the industry at a senior level.
