Horticulture and Conservation Courses

Page Content

The EnviroTech department comprises two core streams: horticulture, and conservation and land management, and is one of the fastest growing program areas at The Gordon.

The area has a strong focus on providing opportunities for students to experience real workplace environments, and works with major local partners including the City of Greater Geelong, Bunnings, Parks Victoria and Barwon Water on a range of industry-based projects.

Students also benefit from a large teaching base made up of generalist and specialist industry professionals, who are up to date with local, national and international trends.

The department promotes a strong cross over between the horticulture and conservation and land management fields, and takes a flexible approach to training to ensure students graduate with high level industry skills along with their qualification.
