“TAFE is a really clever choice and could be an absolute gamechanger for those looking to start their career sooner”, said Colin Hatcher, Executive Director of Student Experience.

“TAFE offers the opportunity to gain the hands-on experience you need to get into the workforce faster, without the large debt, allowing you to realise your professional and lifestyle ambitions sooner.

“Our Open Day will showcase a comprehensive range of courses, incorporating many that lead to jobs in high growth sectors such as health and science, construction trades and information technology. Our service-based industries including business, cookery, tourism and hospitality will feature in our offering, along with automotive, engineering, community services and early childcare and education.

“Our creative courses, encompassing floristry, hairdressing, art and design will have interactive displays, including our street barber who will be offering buzz cuts on the day. I encourage everyone to come along and meet our teachers and students who will be on hand to share valuable insights into the amazing career opportunities that TAFE offers”
continued Mr Hatcher.

Many of The Gordon’s courses set you up to pathway to university and support personal development as lifelong learning habits gain momentum.

“A lot of people out there are underemployed or are looking to switch careers. TAFE is the perfect choice as many of our courses can be completed in as little as 12-months, allowing you to upskill or reskill and re-invent your career” said Mr Hatcher.
