Course Description

Learn the basic principles of working with composite materials for home and hobbies.
Over six sessions you’ll develop your practical skills in the Gordon’s purpose built composites centre along with relevant theory including the composites chemical matrix and safety training.

Students are expected to have the following equipment:
  • Safety boots - steel toe cap
  • Clothing or overalls for workshop activities.
  • Safety glasses, chemical masks and hearing protection provided. 

A statement of participation is issued upon the completion of the course.
