Entry requirements

  • Attending a secondary school
  • Literacy and numeracy level equivalent to the successful completion of Year 9

You will learn

  • How to use and analyse social media and online tools effectively for business
  • Gain skills to investigate business opportunities and assess their potential
  • Develop entrepreneurial skills to solve workplace challenges and work collaboratively in teams
  • Explore the influence of evolving technology on jobs and learn to present information using common business applications to make informed decisions

Course outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program you will receive:

  • Following block credit rules, recognition of up to four VCE Units. Credits accrue in the following sequence; 1, 2, 3 and 4
  • ATAR contribution: if you receive a VCE VET Units 3 and 4 sequence you may be eligible for an increment towards your ATAR
  • Certificate III in Emerging Technologies qualification

  • Clothing suitable for program activities - school uniform

Assessment is based on

  • Team projects and collaboration
  • Direct observation during simulated tasks
  • Projects, assignments and case studies
