Course description

New program delivery.

Clinical training two evenings a week + one afternoon tutorial

We know balancing work, life and study commitments is challenging, so we hope this new program will allow you to reach your career goal of becoming a remedial therapist and get the work balance right. The course covers sports, therapeutic, relaxation, remedial techniques, and postural assessment.
Practical massage training is delivered on campus two evenings per week. These sessions assist you in planning, applying, and assessing soft tissue massage techniques for the healthcare and allied health industries. This will provide you with 200 hours of hands-on clinical experience.

These sessions assist you in planning, applying, and assessing soft tissue massage techniques for the healthcare and allied health industries.

It will support your progression through the online theory components of the course that you will cover in your own time. The theoretical elements include human anatomy and physiology, massage theory, medical terminology, business practice, client communication, and working safely and ethically in healthcare and wellness environments.
