Course description

The course is a self-paced online professional development short course for celebrants.

The course is designed to help you refresh two critical aspects of your celebrancy practice – successful ceremony writing and delivery – so you can feel more confident in the ceremonies you perform.

As professional celebrants, we can design, write, and deliver our ceremonies in various styles to meet our clients' requirements. While our professional registration relates specifically to solemnising marriages, many Celebrants also have a Funeral practice and offer other ceremonies such as renewals and commitments. We will look at the writing and design of ceremony scripts, ways we can tailor and personalise our ceremonies, and how to ensure our ceremonies are inclusive and appropriate.

Optional Teacher Support via Zoom:  This course may include direct access to a teacher for general Q & A Via Zoom.

Runs: The last Wednesday of each month
Time: 12.00pm – 2.00 pm (AEST) 

Equipment requirements

Computer/laptop with microphone (such as the built in microphone, a USB microphone or an online microphone), speaker, headphones and internet connection.

You do not have to have a Zoom account to attend a Zoom meeting. When you click on the link, it will prompt you to create an account. You may wish to create an account, but it is not required to participate in the Zoom meeting.
