While Victoria’s 10 Tech Schools will continue to operate, they will not be hosting school students for the time being in support of broader efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Programs which involve working with groups of students at their home school are still able to continue.

We are following the expert advice and directions of Victoria’s Chief Health Officer and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Education and Training are working together closely to reduce the risk of coronavirus spreading.

Our priority continues to be protecting the health of students and staff and the wider community.

Connecting students to their future

The Geelong Tech School works with local secondary schools to enhance student learning and build the skills needed in future workforces.

Learning centres on industry-led projects in a high-tech environment. Innovative educational programs have been developed collaboratively by industry partners and teachers while being supported by experts in their fields. Technology includes computer applications, 3-D printers and laser cutting machines, robotics, design and electronics.
