The state and federal governments have established a number of programs to support job seekers and local business affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Click on the links below to read more, and contact us in the Skills and Jobs Centre if you need more information or support.

Working for Victoria 
A Victorian government registration portal for job seekers looking for work or free training. Your registration and initial pre-screening is done with Sidekicker, a recruitment agency.

Opportunity Wyndham
A Wyndham City program for jobseekers in the Wyndham area, available to clients of the Skills & Jobs Centre. Contact us for more information.

Big Build Apprenticeships 
Register your interest in an apprenticeship or traineeship with the Victorian government's Big Build program.

Jobs Hub 
Australian government website set up in response to COVID-19. You can search on the relevant state to show which employers are hiring.

Labour Market Information Portal – COVID-19 information 
Shows information from research into the impacts of COVID-19 on Australia's labour market, including which jobs and industries are in demand.

Apprentice and Trainee Re-engagement Register 
Assistance with re-engagement for anyone displaced from an apprenticeship or traineeship due to the impact of COVID-19,

Digital Jobs 
If you’re a mid-career Victorian resident, this program aims to equip you with up-to-date digital skills and place you in paid, short term digital roles with businesses.
