The Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program provides a grant to eligible international student recipients on a packaged visa for up to $2,500 (AUD). Students must first enrol in an
English language or foundation course and pathway into a principal course.

The Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program is funded by the Victorian State Government through Study Melbourne.

Options available to students:
English language program into VET Program
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery – Diploma of Hospitality Management
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) – Diploma of Nursing*
Certificate III in Patisserie – Diploma of Hospitality Management
Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques – Diploma of Laboratory Technology

​*must meet the English requirements for the Diploma of Nursing

Eligibility requirements

  • You are a  new commencing international student on a packaged visa enrolled at The Gordon
  • Have a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) in the principal* course at The Gordon
  • Undertake the principal course at The Gordon
  • Comply with the Pathway to Victoria Scholarships guidelines

Application process

Applications will only be considered from August 2021 until December 2022. The scholarship will be offered on a rolling basis until exhausted.

  1. Complete the course application process. Visit international how to apply for all the details
  2. Meet the eligibility requirements for the grant (above)
  3. Indicate you want to be assessed for the  Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program as part of your application
  4. Your eligibility for the Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program will be assessed as part of the admissions process
  5. Advised of the outcome within 3 business days​
  6. ​If eligible the recipient will receive the grant, paid against the student's account towards tuition fees, once enrolled into the principal* course.

Terms and conditions apply:

  • this scholarship is only available to students studying a packaged program
  • this scholarship is only available to new commencing international students
  • this scholarship cannot be deferred
  • applicants will still be considered in conjunction with other scholarships

Scholarship recipients must repay the $2500 (AUD) scholarship funds if:

  • they do not progress into their principal program or
  • they cancel any of the packaged program enrolments
