The Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program provides a $2,500 AUD grant to new international students.
All of The Gordon’s CRICOS registered International courses are eligible.
The Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program is funded by the Victorian State Government through Study Melbourne.
How to apply
- Process: No separate application is required. New commencing International Students will be automatically assessed after submitting their application for a Gordon TAFE course . Please indicate that you want to be assessed for the Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program as part of your application. You will be advised of the outcome within 3 business days.
- Value: The total value of the Scholarship is $2,500 AUD, and will be a one-off payment made against your tuition fees for your course. All details will be listed in your initial offer letter.
- Eligibility: New international applicants applying to study a certificate, diploma or advanced diploma course at The Gordon TAFE. Applications will only be considered from August 2021 until December 2023. The scholarship will be offered on a rolling basis until exhausted.
Terms and conditions apply:
- This scholarship is only available to new commencing international students
- This scholarship cannot be deferred
- Applicants will still be considered in conjunction with other scholarships
Scholarship recipients must repay the $2500 (AUD) scholarship funds if:
- They do not satisfactorily complete their course at The Gordon
The Gordon is partnering with Impact on the Pathway to Victoria Scholarship Program, which is an exclusive arrangement.
How does it work?
A once-off discount of AU$2,500 will be allocated towards your first program of study within the pathway program. Eg: Your ELICOS program at our partner ELICOS provider, Impact (CRICOS Code: 02995B), packaged with a certificate or diploma program at The Gordon.
Eligibility criteria and terms and conditions
To be eligible, you must:
- be a commencing international student.
- study for 30 weeks of ELICOS or less.
- accept a packaged Offer with The Gordon and Impact and pay the applicable fees as stated in your offer.
- progress to and register into your second course in your packaged study plan.
- apply for a student visa with The Gordon as your principal course provider.
- This scholarship does not apply if you are already studying at The Gordon.
IMPORTANT: If you do not progress to your second course in your packaged study plan at the Gordon (eg: Certificate or Diploma), then you will be required to refund The Gordon, to the amount of $2,500.

You will be advised of your eligibility to receive the scholarship when you receive your letter of offer.
