Werribee is a suburb on the western edge of Melbourne that is easily accessible by public transport, it only takes 30 minutes by train to travel to the Melbourne city centre.

  • You Yangs National Park: These distinctive granite peaks have sweeping views of Werribee’s flat volcanic plains and are the perfect destination for hikers and mountain bikers.

  • The Werribee Gorge State Park: This Park offers great opportunities for bushwalking and rock-climbing and has a spectacular natural swimming hole.

  • Werribee Open Range Zoo: Come face-to-face with giraffes, zebras, hippos, wallabies and emus on a safari tour and get involved in a range of interactive and educational exhibits. 

  • Wyndham City Eagle Stadium: The largest indoor recreation facility in Melbourne’s west caters for a wide range of sports including basketball, netball, table tennis, volleyball and badminton.

  • Werribee Park and Mansion: Built in the late 1870s by the wealthy Chirnside family this colonial homestead is Victoria's largest private residence that is open to the public. The property includes the Victoria State Rose Garden and the Werribee Park Sculpture Walk.

  • Point Cook RAAF Museum: The RAAF Museum is home to Australia's largest collection of memorabilia and aircraft relating to the rich history of the Australian aviation and is the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force.
