File formats and paper sizes

PDF files are preferred

Whilst we accept Microsoft office files, for best results and to avoid format problems, please supply a PDF file. We do not accept InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator files.

The maximum sheet size for digital colour printing is SRA3 (320mm x 450mm) without bleed. The maximum width we can print on large format is 1,000mm with bleed.

Full Bleed Printing

When artwork prints to the edge of the paper you need to set your artwork up to cater for full bleed printing. Just like your laser printer, there is no way to colour print to the very edge of the paper.

Set up your full bleed document with 3mm bleed on all 4 sides. Artwork must fill the bleed area entirely, we will print your job on oversize stock and the bleed area is trimmed off.

This will make your document print from edge to edge of the paper. Remember to include crop marks and allow at least 5mm safety zone.

Supply your PDF artwork one-up. If your artwork prints to the edge of the paper, you need to supply your file with 3mm bleed and crop marks showing on the PDF. Also allow a 5mm safety zone for text, logos etc. All text, logos, page numbers or other elements you want should be kept inside the 'safety zone', to guarantee nothing is trimmed off.

If there is no bleed required supply a one-up PDF without bleed or crop marks.

Business cards

Supply your business card PDF artwork one-up. Standard business card size is 55mm x 90mm. If your artwork prints to the edge of the paper use a 5mm safety zone, and supply your PDF file with bleed and crop marks.
