Why is Gordon Online going to be unavailable?
Our current provider for GordonOnline is moving to a new Australian-based hosting partner to improve performance, security, and compliance. This means all sites, including Gordon Online, need to migrate. This decision was made by the provider (not The Gordon).
When will Gordon Online be unavailable?
Gordon Online and Upskilling Hub will be offline for 36 hours from Midnight Wednesday 17 December to 12 noon Friday 19 December.
What does this mean for me?
You won’t be able to log in or access any courses or resources during this time.
Tip: Download any notes, resources, or assessments you’ll need before 17 December.
What should I do before the outage?
- Download resources you’ll need for study or assignments.
- Check due dates for assessments and plan ahead.
- Talk to your teacher if you’re unsure about what you need.
Will my courses or data be lost?
No. All your courses, grades, and submissions will be migrated. There’s nothing you need to do except plan for the outage.
What happens after the outage?
Once migration is complete, you’ll log in as normal. The site will look the same.
