Course description

This course provides participants with the appropriate knowledge required for employment in a hospitality or retail food handling area.

This complies with Victorian Government Food Safety Programs and Local Council food premises requirements relating to supervision of a food safety program/plan. 

Delivery and Assessment

  • Note: 6-8 hours online pre-work prior to attending the 1 day Practical Assessment that has to be completed by the students.
  • All applications will close 14 days prior to Course Date.

  • SITXFSA006 – Participate in safe food handling practices
  • SITXFSA005– Use hygienic practices for food safety
