Interested in starting your career with The Gordon? Be sure to review the position description to make sure it is right for you. Shortlisting
Your application will be reviewed based on your overall application. This includes your Resume, Cover Letter and any additional information required through the Position Description.
Interview
If you progress to interview we will be in contact to arrange a time. We will also be available to answer any questions about the process moving forward.
Reference Checks
We will be in contact via email with your referees to conduct reference checks. Managers or supervisors are great referees.
Outcome
Applicants will be notified of the outcome following interviews.
Pre-employment checks
If you are the successful candidate you will receive an email and text message to complete your background check and qualification verifications via Fit2Work.
Onboarding
You will have the chance to connect with your new team, join an exciting meet-and-greet with fellow Gordon members, and immerse yourself in comprehensive orientation and training. We can't wait to welcome you!

- Cover Letter - Tell us about your qualifications, skills, attributes, experience and knowledge in relation to the advertised position.
- Two referee contacts – Ideally this would be your current manager or past manager/supervisor, including their email address and phone number.
Pre-employment verification – The Gordon require’s supporting documentation as outlined in Position Description.
- You will be required to undertake a National Criminal Records Check
- You will also be required to obtain an Employee version of a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance as a condition of employment.
- Your Qualifications, Transcripts and Licences (as recognised in Australia)
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of ID
- COVID Vaccination evidence (where applicable – see Position Description for industry requirements)
