You will learn

  • Get involved in community activities and projects
  • Explore and try out a small business idea with guidance
  • Discover different options for future training, work, or fun activities in the community
  • Learn about the steps to get a learner permit for driving
  • Engage in activities that help in finding a job or exploring career options

Course outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program you will receive:

  • A Statement of Attainment for the partial completion of Certificate I in Transition Education 

Dress code and course materials

  • Clothing suitable for program activities - school uniform
  • Basic stationery: pens, exercise book or loose-leaf paper

Assessment is based on

  • Hands-on projects    
  • Travel activities
  • Oral presentations 
  • Problem-solving
