There are a number of reasons why you might choose The Gordon as your pathway to university. You can gain credit points for prior learning at Deakin University and Torrens University. This takes time off the duration of your bachelor course. Not only can this save you money, it also means you’ll have the skills to work in your preferred industry whilst studying at university.
Deakin University and Torrens University offers Gordon students entry and credit towards a number of bachelor degrees. Towards the end of your Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification at The Gordon, you can apply for entry at Deakin University or Torrens University. Deakin and Torrens will assess you for Credit for Prior Learning which can mean a reduced number of units and time to complete your degree.
Torrens University is extending a 15% pathway scholarship for students from The Gordon, applicable to international and domestic students. Certain conditions apply to this scholarship offer and do not apply to VET courses at Torrens University. Students must provide certificates or transcripts from The Gordon to receive the scholarship.
Along with our arrangements with Deakin University and Torrens University, students may be able to apply for Credit for Prior Learning with other universities and TAFEs.
While The Gordon has developed partnerships and formal arrangements, it is important to note that all pathways, including formal guaranteed entry and/or Credit for Prior Learning, are at the discretion of the individual university. Each applicant must meet the university’s own admission criteria. Refer to the university’s website for more information.
