Disability Inclusion Support

Everyone has the potential to succeed.

At The Gordon we provide support to enable students impacted by a disability, health or medical condition to access and participate in education and training on the same basis as others.

Disability Inclusion Support is a free service available across all campuses, providing access to:

  • Advocacy
  • AUSLAN interpreting 
  • Accessibility advice 
  • Free employment services (TSEP)
  • Assistive Technology 
  • Orientation tours 
  • Reasonable adjustments
  • Other relevant services within The Gordon
  • Access to academic support workers
  • External agencies and services for people with a disability

How to access Disability Inclusion Support Services

You must register with Disability Inclusion Support to access the service. As part of your registration, you are required to provide evidence of your disability, health or mental health condition, such as a doctor’s certificate or Disability Support Pension card.
    

TAFE Specialist Employment Partnerships (TSEP)

TAFE Specialist Employment Partnerships (TSEP) is a free, on-campus employment service that supports graduating students with a disability who are seeking employment. A specialist consultant will be onsite at The Gordon one day per week, rotating between our main campuses.
