Attending an East Geelong campus session?

If you are attending a session at our East Geelong campus; you can also add an additional campus tour option. This runs at 5pm prior to the regular sessions so book and be early.

Location

Our East Geelong Campus is located ten minutes by road from the Geelong city centre via Ormond Road (Bellarine Highway). The campus is bordered by Boundary Road, St Albans Road and Olney Avenue in East Geelong.

Facilities

Some of the great facilities you’ll find at East Geelong Campus include:

Auto centre

Specially designed to simulate the workplace, automotive apprentices work on real jobs for real clients, whether it’s vehicle servicing and repair or panel beating and painting. Our partnership with Ford also means students have access to and work on a range of late model vehicles using the latest technology, including the new ‘virtual paint room’.

Construction and safety centre

Construction and safety students enjoy world-class facilities equipped with classrooms and indoor and outdoor construction spaces to simulate industry environments and expectations.

Engineering and metal workshops

Our engineering department received a half-a-million-dollar equipment upgrade, adding two new CNC mills and lathes to our already impressive facilities. These machines are further supported by 12 simulators allowing students to program live for precision and safety – the first for any TAFE in Victoria.

Senior College

The Gordon’s Senior College offers secondary pathways including VCE, VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) and the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC). This purpose built facility at East Geelong Campus features modern learning environments to support both academic and practical learning, including classrooms, trade workshop areas, kitchen, gymnasium and shared recreation areas.

ICT labs

A computer technician’s heaven. Room after room of computer hardware and software equipment provides the ideal hands-on training environment for information and communication technology students.

Library

East Geelong Campus Library has more than just books! Fitted out with 30 PCs for students with a range of software, a DVD, fiction and Easy Reading collections for recreational reading and watching.
