The Gordon aims to make study accessible to all students, our payment plan allows you to spread payment of your fees over time. If you are 18 or older, (or you have an adult as your guarantor), you can apply for a payment plan that will cover your course fees, amenities, excursions, accommodation fees and materials. Payment plans are available for any course that is not eligible for VET Student Loans and is not a short course.
Standard Payment plans are available for course fees over $500 and less than $3,500. For a payment plan request of over $3,500 you need to apply and The Gordon will determine your eligibility and contact you in order to complete a budget assessment to ensure you are able to meet the payments. International students need to contact the International office to discuss assistance with paying fees.
Payment plans will be either 20 or 40 weeks depending on the course/s you have enrolled in. Once a plan has been decided however, payment plans cannot be changed from 20 to 40 weeks. Customer Service will be able to assist you to plan payment amounts and due dates, and your payments will be processed via direct debit from your nominated bank account fortnightly*. If you need to change your bank account details at any time just email accounts@gordontafe.edu.au and supply your name, student ID and new bank account details.
Once set up you can check your balance in the My Finances section of your eCentral account any time.

Make sure you have applied for VET Student Loans for Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses before you apply for a Payment Plan.
You will be contacted to confirm your application is successful.
NOTE: All payment plans must be paid in full prior to receiving any academic results. A student can only have one payment plan available at a time, and any pre-existing debt will need to be paid prior to the commencement of a payment plan. As new fees are not automatically added to an existing payment plan any changes to a student’s payment plan, will need to be discussed with Customer Service.
