International Women’s Day means celebrating and recognising the strength and achievements that women have achieved throughout their lives! The hard work they have been through will always be noticed worldwide.
What does gender equality mean to you?
Gender equality means everyone should have the same rights, respect and opportunities, no matter the gender. We should all have the same chances for success!
How do you stand up for others or challenge gender stereotypes?
I stand up for others by speaking up when something is unfair. I don’t judge people based on gender. I support their life choices and career decisions. Whatever is best for them!
In what ways has The Gordon supported gender equality for you?
The Gordon has supported gender equality for me by treating everyone the same. I feel respected in my class and I feel supported to study what I enjoy! The Gordon is like a safe space for me and others. It truly makes all of us happy to be here.
