As part of National Safe Work Month in October we will be on the lookout for safe acts in action. If someone is spotted following correct safety procedures and working safely, they will be called out and celebrated!
Too often, safety is only discussed when something goes wrong but we want to flip the focus and highlight when people are doing the right thing. This includes:
When someone is ‘caught in the act’ of working safely, they will be recognised and given a raffle ticket to go in the draw to win a prize that will be drawn in October. These moments show that safety is more than rules - it’s part of our culture.
This event is part of National Safe Work Month—a time to commit to building safe and healthy workplaces for all Australians.
