Centre of Excellence in Disability Inclusion

The Gordon’s Centre of Excellence in Disability Inclusion is a major $36m state-funded project that will establish the first centre in Victoria dedicated to driving improvement and innovation in disability inclusion across the TAFE sector.  This redevelopment is a major opportunity to create a more inclusive, accessible City Campus that better supports our students and strengthens The Gordon’s role in leading the TAFE Network Centre of Excellence in Disability Inclusion.

It will support:

  • Students with disability to access and thrive at TAFE.
  • All Victorian TAFEs to lift inclusion capability.
  • Workforce pathways so Students with disability can contribute their skills confidently.

Construction works for our new Centre of Excellence in Disability Inclusion commenced in Jan-2026 and will conclude by mid-2027 and transform Building G & H at City Campus upgrading and reimaging spaces to create a contemporary, inclusive hub for student support, teaching and industry/sector collaboration.

During construction, there will understandably be some disruption to our normal operations. We will need to temporarily relocate some education delivery and student services to alternative locations during the construction period. Our aim is to minimise disruption as far as possible and to give staff and students clear, timely information so you can plan with confidence.
