Didn’t get the ATAR you needed?
You don’t need an ATAR to study at The Gordon. And even better, we have pathway agreements with Deakin University and Vic University. So you can begin your studies with The Gordon and later transfer to your course of choice at uni.
Starting your studies at The Gordon can also save you thousand in uni fees. And with a TAFE qualification, you’re a step ahead of your uni counterparts. You could work in your industry while completing your uni course!

No worries. The Gordon offers a large range of short courses, allowing you to discover your true passion ahead of committing to long term study.

After completing courses in the areas of make-up, screen and media, multi-disciplinary design and interior design, Bec was accepted to study a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) at Deakin University.
JobTrainer and Free TAFE
Studying with The Gordon in 2021 can open doors to new careers with double the opportunity to receive government-funded places through Free TAFE and the new JobTrainer initiative.
Learn more and find out if you are eligible here. JobTrainer is expected to continue until December 2021, and Free TAFE until December 2022, so it’s important to consider which initiative you should enrol under and when.
