Spotlight on data, AI and digital transformation

This month, The Gordon is proud to spotlight a bold new chapter in our journey with the establishment of a dedicated Data, AI and Student Insights function. This investment reflects our commitment to being a data-driven, student-centred and future-ready Institute.

The new team will strengthen secure and ethical data use, embed responsible AI practices and ensure student voice informs decision-making across learning, services and operations. Together, these roles will support digital transformation, uplift data maturity and provide trusted insights for leaders, educators and partners.

We are currently recruiting two foundation roles

AI & Data Governance Lead

A senior leadership role responsible for setting the strategic direction for data and AI governance across the Institute. This position will establish frameworks, standards and culture to ensure data and AI are secure, ethical and future-ready, while supporting executive decision-making and responsible innovation.

Student Insights Advisor

A key role focused on translating student feedback and evidence into meaningful action. Working across teams, this position supports The Gordon’s insights ecosystem, builds capability and helps turn data into stories that improve learning, engagement and student success.

And there’s more to come – a Data Engineer role will be released to market in the coming weeks, completing the foundation of this new team and strengthening our analytics and AI capability.
