The Gordon helps learners master AI through short course

Geelong local Kyriacos Simeonides recently completed the three-hour online course and said it gave him practical skills he could immediately apply in his work and everyday life.

Participants learn the basics of AI, prompt writing, responsible AI use and real-world applications, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice.

For Kyriacos, one of the most valuable parts of the course was learning how to improve AI responses through better prompting.

Learning how to structure prompts to get better results from AI was the most valuable skill I gained.

Kyriacos said he can see AI playing an important role in the workplace by helping people save time on routine tasks.

"It will help me prioritise emails and manage my workflow more effectively, allowing me to focus on higher-priority responsibilities," he said.

Reflecting on the experience, Kyriacos described the course as practical, engaging and suitable for people at any skill level.

It was a really positive experience. Having an expert there to guide you and help improve the way you interact with AI platforms is incredibly beneficial, especially if you're a beginner or looking to build your skills.
