New Board Chair announced | Darryl Mohr

The Gordon Board is pleased to announce Darryl Mohr has been appointed Chair.

Darryl has been a member of The Gordon Board since February 2018, Deputy Chair since January 2020, and Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee since January 2019. He brings extensive governance, risk and senior leadership experience, including more than 30 years in financial services. Over the past five years, Darryl has also contributed to public policy development, with a focus on education, skills and vocational learning.

As Deputy Chair, Darryl has been serving as Acting Board Chair following the passing of Ms Trish Crossin AM, providing steady leadership and continuity for the Institute.

It is a privilege to serve as Chair of The Gordon Board.

The Gordon has a proud history and a clear public purpose, with an important role supporting students, industry and the communities we serve.

I look forward to working with my Board colleagues, Joe and the executive team as we continue to strengthen outcomes for learners, support our staff, and respond to the skills needs of our region and Victoria.

Darryl brings strong governance experience, sound judgement and a deep understanding of The Gordon’s role as a public TAFE.

His leadership as Acting Chair has provided stability during an important period for the Institute.
